Volunteering with Marlins Netball
A netball team requires so much more than just having 7 players to go on court. The driving force behind the players are our volunteers - Coaches, Team Managers, Umpires, FUTUREferns Star Helpers (Yr1-4) and Committee members.
We're always on the lookout for some great people ready to jump in with a “get-up and go” approach, happy to be yourself, letting your personality and positive vibes shine through. Take ownership to of a problem or seek help to get it sorted. Show you care about what you do, cherish all your connections and the environment around you.
Coach
A special type of person with a passion for sharing their netball experience and knowledge to develop the skill of their players. The thrill of watching your team build together and pull off that amazing play you worked on with them at training. Being a coach is not just rewarding, it's a lot of fun!

Team Manager
The glue that holds the team together, this person cares about the wellbeing of the players as much as the coach does. They chase up on players, parents.. the coach.. making sure everybody makes it to the game on time. Above all, it's their fantastic problem solving skills that brings it all together.

FUTUREFerns Star Helper (Yr1-4)
They have a great attitude and love helping our youngest players learn the basics of our beautiful game. They get a special type of buzz throughout each session when their players learn and develop their skills. No experience necessary, all training & resources will be provided and we'll be right there to support you along the way.
Are you interested in kickstarting our netball stars of the future? Let us know
Umpire
A stickler for the rules and quite possibly the most powerful person on the court, without umpires, we can't enter a team. An umpire is someone who will pride themselves on consistency, performance and have the ambition to continually upskill themselves.
If you are keen to develop your umpiring skills and be a part of this high peforming team in 2024, Grab yourself a whistle and contact Tracey.
Committee Members
This role is about so much more than just meetings. This passionate group of people use their skills and experience, making decisions to keep the club running smoothly and our teams on the court. We are always on the look out for new committee members to bring a fresh perspective and to help our club grow.
