TRIALS
Getting ready for Trials
Trials are important part of putting our teams together, you must attend. If you are unable to make it to the trial date for any reason, please let us know before the trial date!
When you get to the trials make sure you check in with us at the registration table so we know that you're there, otherwise you might not get any court time.
What to bring?
- Water
- Netball shoes
- Gym Towel
- A positive attitude
On the Day
Arrive with plenty of time before the trial starts so that you can complete registration, get your sharp-shooting eye in and start your warm up.
You probably won't have long on court to impress the selectors, so play like you're in the ANZ premiership final and give it everything!
Off-Season Preparation
It's never too soon to prepare yourself for next season... Things to think about during the off season could include:
- Building cardio fitness
- Check your nutrition, are you getting the right fuel?
- Seek professional help for any injuries you may have picked up and follow their advice
- Find some good netball shoes (If you need to) there's nothing worse than blisters halfway through trials
- Work on core strengthening, balance & agility exercises

Pre season Sessions
We are running pre-season sessions for U15 & college grades, Thursday nights starting 11th January. These are not compulsory to be considered for a team, however they will help your fitness when it comes to trials. check our Facebook/Instagram for details closer to the time.
